Day 1Cusco – Huchuy Qosqo - Lamay - Cusco

We’ll pick you up early from your hotel and take you by comfortable bus to Patabamba, located at 3,848 meters above sea level the exact starting point of your incredible Huchuy Qosqo trek.

From your very first step, you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes surrounding you. You’ll walk to the charming village of Sihua and then climb the majestic Pukamarca Mountain, at 4,150 meters, where panoramic views of the Sacred Valley, the Urubamba mountain range, and the stunning ruins of Huchuy Qosqo await you.

After a refreshing downhill walk, you’ll arrive at the community of Pukamarca, where a delicious lunch will be ready to refuel your energy.

Next, you’ll follow the restored ancient Inca trail toward Puma Punku — the famous “Door of the Puma.” This path leads you to the mysterious and captivating Inca site of Huchuy Qosqo, a place rich in history and magic.
