Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup between 4:00 a.m. and 4:30 a.m., followed by a scenic bus ride to Abra Málaga at 4,350 meters (12,271 feet). Enjoy breathtaking views of the Andean landscape as you ascend. Upon arrival, you’ll receive your safety equipment for the bike ride.
After a quick briefing, embark on a thrilling 3-hour downhill bike ride. Descend through diverse ecosystems, starting from the chilly high-altitude grasslands and sweeping through lush cloud forests, experiencing dramatic changes in scenery and climate. This exhilarating ride is a unique way to witness the region’s biodiversity while getting your adrenaline fix.
The ride ends at Huaman Marca, a fascinating and lesser-known Inca archaeological site. Explore the ancient ruins and soak in the rich history and tranquil surroundings.

Depart Santa Teresa at 5:30 a.m. by local transport for Hidroeléctrica, a scenic 35-minute drive. Arriving around 6:00 a.m., begin a memorable 3-hour hike along the train tracks to the town of Aguas Calientes, surrounded by stunning jungle scenery.
Once in Aguas Calientes, enjoy some free time to explore the town at your own pace. At 10:15 a.m., board the bus to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu.
Your guided tour of Machu Picchu begins at noon. Spend approximately two hours exploring this iconic Inca citadel, discovering its majestic temples, agricultural terraces, and ceremonial plazas. The altitude ranges vary throughout the trek. On Day 1, the altitude ranges from a maximum of 4,350m at Abra Malaga to a minimum of 1,430m in Santa Maria. On Day 2, the altitude ranges from a maximum of 2,100m to a minimum of 1,800m in Santa Teresa. On Day 3, the altitude ranges from a maximum of 2,450m to a minimum of 2,100m in Aguas Calientes.
After the visit to Machu Picchu on Day 3, participants have the option to return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco or opt for a more adventurous walk back to Hydroelectric to catch the bus. This allows participants to choose the transportation option that best suits their preferences and schedule.
