What to bring

  • Original passport:Copies are not accepted. Your original passport must be valid for at least six months to enter and leave Peru and have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
  • Student ID:Required only if you booked the Inca Jungle Trek as a student. You must carry a valid student ID issued by your university (up to 25 years old), including university information, personal details, a photo, and a valid date no later than December 31 of the travel year.
  • Insect repellent:Use a repellent containing at least 15% DEET. Although there is no reported malaria risk, it helps prevent bites and keeps you comfortable.
  • Comfortable footwear:Tennis shoes or hiking boots with good grip are important for walking on uneven and steep terrain.
  • Comfortable clothing:Dress for cold and windy conditions, and be sure to bring a waterproof and windproof jacket.
  • Daypack:Choose a comfortable, lightweight, and compact backpack to carry your belongings throughout the day.
  • Sun protection:Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from the strong high-altitude sun.
  • Personal medication:Don’t forget your personal medication and a basic first-aid kit.
  • Hats and sunglasses:The sun can be intense at high altitude. Wear UV-protective sunglasses and a comfortable hat.
  • Hand sanitizer:Carry a small bottle to clean your hands before eating, drinking, or after using the bathroom.
  • Emergency money:Please bring extra cash for unexpected expenses. We recommend carrying 300 soles (approximately USD 90) in cash.

Upon arrival in Lima, the capital of Peru, our staff or driver will meet you at Jorge Chávez International Airport and transfer you to your selected hotel.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Lima at 2:00 pm. and take you on a journey through the heart of the Lima City, exploring its most iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

After settling in, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Lima with our comprehensive city tour. Lasting approximately 5 hours, this guided excursion will take you to the city’s most iconic attractions, including the Main Plaza, the historic San Francisco Temple, and the charming streets of historical Lima.

Let yourself be captivated by the beauty and charm of Peru’s capital city as you explore its fascinating landmarks. After a day of discovery, enjoy a comfortable night’s stay at your hotel in Lima.

Finally, In the evening, discover the vibrant Miraflores district, known for its lively streets, beautiful parks, and breathtaking coastal views of the Pacific Ocean. Day 2Lima hotel - Paracas Ballestas island Tour- Huacachina tour - lima Hotel.

we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Lima at 5:00 AM, then you’ll travel 245 kilometers along the scenic Pan-American Highway, heading towards Paracas, a charming tourist destination nestled in the Pisco province.

we’ll stop briefly in Chincha, where you can use the restrooms or enjoy a traditional breakfast (optional). Then, you’ll continue your journey and arrive in Paracas around 7:45 a.m.

At 8:00 AM, you’ll set off on an exhilarating excursion to the Ballestas Islands aboard a motorized boat. Along the way, marvel at the impressive Candelabra, an immense petroglyph etched into the cliffs of the Bay of Independence.

Then, 30 minutes offshore, prepare to be captivated by the diverse marine fauna inhabiting the Ballestas Islands, including Peruvian boobies, Guanay cormorants, Humboldt penguins, sea lions, and dolphins. After a captivating 2-hour tour, you’ll return to the port of the Bay of Independence to continue our adventure.

Around 10:00 to 10:30 AM, you’ll depart for the city of Ica, where you’ll visit the prestigious Vitivincola Winery “El Catador” or “Nieto,” renowned winners of national awards. there, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the artisanal production of wine and pisco, as well as savor a tasting of their exquisite liquors.

After lunch, you’ll travel to the breathtaking Oasis and Lagoon of Huacachina. Surrounded by towering sand dunes, this natural oasis offers a serene escape amidst the desert landscape. Embark on a thrilling 1.5-hour buggy tour through the dunes, where you’ll experience the exhilaration of speeding over the sands and taking in panoramic views of the oasis below.

As the day ends, you’ll say goodbye to Ica and start your return trip to Lima, arriving around 10:30 p.m. Then, return to your hotel in Lima for a well-deserved night of rest after an action-packed day of exploration and adventure.

Day 3Lima Hotel - Lima Airport - Flight Lima to Cusco - Cusco Hotel - City Tour in Cusco .

We’ll transfer you from your hotel to the airport in the morning. Then, you’ll take a one-hour flight from Lima to Cusco. When you land at Cusco Airport, We’ll pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Once you arrive at the hotel, you’ll be served coca tea to prevent altitude sickness. and you can also rest and have a light lunch before starting the city tour in Cusco.

At 1:30 p.m., you’ll be picked up from your hotel to begin the Cusco City Tour. You’ll visit the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), and the city’s main streets, where you can appreciate its historic architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

You’ll then continue to the archaeological sites located on the outskirts of Cusco: the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, the ceremonial center of Qenqo, the ancient military outpost of Puca Pucara, and the Water Temple of Tambomachay.

Finally, You’ll return to the hotel between 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm approximately.

Day 4Cusco Hotel - Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour - Aguas Calientes hotel.

We’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel at 7:30 a.m. Then, you’ll travel by private Bus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the trip, you’ll stop at scenic overlooks to take in the views and learn about the region’s rich Inca history.

Once we arrive in the town of Pisac, Then, you’ll visit its traditional craft market. Then, you’ll head to the Pisac archeological site, where you’ll see the impressive agricultural terraces covering the mountains and the religious temples.
After the visit, you’ll continue traveling to the town of Urubamba where you’ll stop for lunch at a typical local Andean restaurant (this buffet lunch is not included in the tour, cost USD 20 per person).

After lunch, you’ll continue to Ollantaytambo, a town considered the living Inca town because people still live in Inca constructions. you’ll also visit the Ollantaytambo archeological site,  where you’ll see agricultural terraces and ceremonial temples.

Finally, you’ll head to the train station to catch the train to Aguas Calientes, a journey that takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.

During the journey, you’ll appreciate the Urubamba Valley, snow-capped mountains, agricultural terraces, and remains of Inca constructions.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (altitude of 2000m/6000ft), our staff will be waiting for you outside the main door of the train station and will take you to your hotel.

Day 5Aguas Calientes Hotel - Machu Picchu Tour - Cusco Hotel .

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Meet the Tour Guide and take a bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, Once you arrive to this great citadel. you must present yout entry ticket and original passports.

Enjoy a 2–3 hour guided tour of the citadel, exploring the best of Machu picchu such as: terraces, temples, plazas, the Guardhouse, and scenic viewpoints, temples, and palaces, then you will have free time or hike to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain are available for panoramic views (tickets not included, up on request).

We include Circuit 2 by default, as it provides the most comprehensive exploration of Machu Picchu. If it is unavailable, we will offer the best alternative—Circuit 3 or Circuit 1—to ensure an exceptional experience. We strongly recommend booking your Machu Picchu tickets well in advance, as availability is limited and the most popular circuits and schedules sell out quickly.

After exploring Machu Picchu, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch, explore the town and look around the local shops. In the afternoon, you’ll board the Expedition Train for a 1.5-hour scenic journey to Ollantaytambo. followed by a private van ride back to Cusco. You are expected to arrive at your hotel in Cusco around 7:00 p.m.

Day 6Cusco Hotel - Humantay Lake full day Trek - Cusco Hotel.

We’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. Then, we’ll travel through the tranquil Andean Mountains and stop in Mollepata for a traditional breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll continue to Soraypampa (the starting point of the trek).

Arrival in Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft), your guide will provide trekking tips, safety information, and insights into the region’s cultural and natural significance. From There, the journey continues on foot.

The path gradually leads you through spectacular landscapes – towering mountains, glacial streams and quiet valleys. After 1.5 hours, you’ll arrive at the stunning, turquoise Lake Humantay, which is framed by snow-capped peaks and boasts turquoise waters. Take in the views, take photos, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Then, you’ll descend back to Soraypampa. From there, you’ll drive to Mollepata for a well-earned, fresh, hearty lunch prepared with local ingredients.

After lunch, you’ll head back to Cusco, arriving in the afternoon around 5 to 6 PM. just in time to relax after an unforgettable day at one of Peru’s most breathtaking natural wonders.

Day 7Cusco Hotel - Rainbow Mountain full day Trek - Cusco Hotel .

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 4:00 a.m. and travel to the charming town of CusipataPaucarpata aboard our private transportation. During the trip, you’ll pass through picturesque Peruvian towns in the Andes Mountains and enjoy stunning views of the majestic peaks.

Upon arrival, you’ll have a delicious breakfast and gather the necessary supplies for the trek ahead. Then, energized and prepared, you’ll continue your journey for about 1 hour and 20 minutes, immersing yourselves in the stunning vistas of towering mountains and lush valleys.

Our adventure truly begins upon reaching the town of Llaqto (Cairahuire Alto), situated at an elevation of 3700 meters above sea level. From there, you’ll embark on a challenging uphill hike lasting 2 hours, leading you to the summit of Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, you can marvel at glacial peaks and traditional llamas and alpacas grazing amongst the rugged terrain.

Upon reaching the summit at an impressive altitude of 5038 meters above sea level, you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the Andes and its diverse flora and fauna. The striking red mountains and valleys create a marvelous backdrop for your photographs and videos.

After spending ample time enjoying the beauty of Rainbow Mountain and red Valleys, you’ll descend to where the minibus is waiting.

later on, we’ll head to Cusipata for lunch, then, we’ll continue our journey back to Cusco. arriving in the city around 4:30 PM, where we’ll drop you off at center of Cusco’s main square.

Reflecting on the day’s adventures, you’ll settle into your hotel in Cusco, recounting the remarkable experiences and breathtaking vistas that defined your excursion to Rainbow Mountain.

Day 8Cusco Hotel - Cusco Airport - Flight ( Lima to Home).

The Peru Adventure Tour was an exhilarating journey packed with unforgettable experiences. From exploring the bustling streets of Lima to marveling at the natural wonders of the Ballestas Islands and Huacachina oasis, every moment was filled with excitement. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the visit to Machu Picchu, a place that truly captured the essence of adventure and exploration.

Trekking through the Sacred Valley of the Incas and witnessing the breathtaking landscapes en route to Aguas Calientes added an extra layer of thrill to the journey. And the Rainbow Mountain excursion was the perfect finale, offering stunning views and a sense of accomplishment after a challenging hike.
