Itinerary

Day 1Cusco - Ollantaytambo - Machu Picchu - Cusco or Sacred Valley .

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco around 5:30 a.m. and take you comfortably to the Ollantaytambo train station. There, you’ll board the exclusive Vistadome Observatory or 360° Train for an unforgettable journey to Aguas Calientes.

During the approximately 1 hour and 45-minute train ride, you can relax and enjoy the stunning scenery as you descend from the highlands of Ollantaytambo into the lush cloud forest, following the path of the Urubamba River and taking in the majestic Andes along the way.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), your guide will give you a short break to grab a coffee or a snack before continuing.

Then, our guide will take you to the bus station for a short ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. At this magnificent citadel, you will need to present your ticket and passport.

Enjoy a 2-3 hour guided tour of the citadel, exploring the highlights of Machu Picchu, including the terraces, temples, plazas, Guard House, and panoramic viewpoints.

The tour includes Circuit 2 by default, which offers the most comprehensive experience of visiting Machu Picchu. If tickets are sold out, we offer the next best alternatives: Circuit 3 or Circuit 1. We recommend booking your Machu Picchu tickets well in advance because availability is limited, and the most popular circuits and times often sell out quickly.

Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Full House or Chullos, two popular restaurants offering a fusion of Peruvian and international cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, many of which are grown in their own gardens. Your meal will be served with spectacular mountain views.
