Upon your arrival at the airport in the city of Cusco, our agency team will be waiting with your respective name and will take you to your designated hotel.
Once there, you’ll receive a soothing coca tea to help with the altitude, and you may also have a light lunch as recommended. After recharging our energy, we’ll begin the City Tour through the city center of Cusco, where we’ll visit the Plaza de Armas and the Coricancha Temple.
In these places you’ll have a guided tour where you’ll learn all about the history of the Incas. Finally, you’ll return to the city of Cusco, arriving between 18:45 and 19:00.
Our vehicle will drop you off in the city centre so that you can experience Cusco at night and have dinner in one of the traditional restaurants nearby.
After having breakfast at your hotel, our guide will pick you up from the hotel reception at 07:30 am. Then, you’ll travel to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, making strategic stops to take photos and enjoy the stunning views over the Sacred Valley.
Later you’ll arrive in the town of Pisac, where you’ll stop to explore the Pisac handicraft market, then climb to the high part to visit the Pisac archaeological complex, where you’ll see agricultural terraces, religious temples and ceremonial water sources.
Throughout the visit you’ll be given an explanation of the entire Inca history. After the visit, you’ll return to the city and continue your journey to the city of Urubamba, where you’ll stop for a buffet lunch.
After recharging your batteries, head to the town of Ollantaytambo, known as the living Inca city because its inhabitants still live in houses built by our ancestors, with cobbled streets and water channels.
Then you’ll visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo on a guided tour. At the end of the visit, the minibus will take you to the Plaza de Armas of Ollantaytambo, 10 minutes from the train station.
You’ll have free time until your train departs to Aguas Calientes according to the scheduled timetable. The train takes 1 hour and 45 minutes.
On arrival in Aguas Calientes, you’ll be met at the station and taken to your hotel. You will also have time to have dinner in one of the many restaurants in Aguas Calientes and relax, before being informed of the exact time you will be picked up the following day.
You’ll have breakfast at your hotel, then your guide will meet you and take you to the bus station to catch the bus to Machu Picchu.
Once there, you’ll go to the ticket office to register and then begin the guided tour, which lasts approximately 2-3 hours. During the tour you’ll see important sites such as agricultural terraces, temples, plazas and ceremonial water sources.
After visiting Machu Picchu, at the end of the guided tour, the guide will say goodbye to the group and you’ll decide when to take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can have lunch in one of the many restaurants until the train departs.
Finally, you’ll take the train back to Ollantaytambo (the train schedule is subject to availability and will be explained in the pre-tour meeting).
You’ll be collected from your hotel at 8.30am and driven through the Sacred Valley of the Incas to the Moray Archaeological Complex, which takes 1 hour 30 minutes. You will stop in the picturesque village of Maras, surrounded by beautiful landscapes and which gives its name to the salt mines that surround it.
Later, you’ll head to the Moray Circular Terraces, a centre for agricultural experimentation due to the unique micro-climates of each of the terraces.
After visiting them and with your camera full of photos, you’ll head to the Maras salt mines, where you’ll observe the community members extracting pink salt, just as they did during the Inca period.
Finally, you will return to the city of Cusco, arriving at around 14:30 h. You will be dropped off near the Plaza de Armas.
Your adventure begins with an early pickup from your Cusco hotel, scheduled between 4:00 to 4:45 AM. We’ll embark on a southward journey towards Cusipata, nestled at an elevation of 3,310 meters (10,859 feet), which we’ll reach after a 2-hour drive.
Upon arrival in Cusipata, we’ll fuel up with a hearty continental breakfast, setting the stage for the day’s trek. Post-breakfast, our van takes us further to Phula Wasipata, the trek’s starting point, situated at 4,326 meters (14,189 feet).
The highlight of our journey, a 1:30-hour hike, leads us to the awe-inspiring Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca), standing tall at 5,020 meters (16,466 feet). Here, amidst the world’s unique geological marvel, you’ll have ample time to soak in the views, capture photos, and explore.
You’ll hike back to our starting point, a 1 to 1.30 hour trek, before returning to Cusipata for a well-deserved lunch. You will then take a 3 hour bus ride back to Cusco, arriving between 4pm and 5pm.
After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport.
It includes visits to the Plaza de Armas, the Coricancha Temple, and the archaeological complexes of Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay with an expert guide.
We will visit the town of Pisac, its artisan market and archaeological complex, as well as the town of Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and their respective archaeological complexes.
It includes train transportation from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes, entry to Machu Picchu, a guided tour of the archaeological site, and return transportation by train and bus to Cusco.
You will visit Moray, an Incan agricultural experimentation center, and the Maras Salt Mines, where you can observe more than 3,000 salt ponds.
You will be picked up from the hotel after breakfast, according to your flight schedule. The transfer to the airport will be arranged to ensure you arrive in time for your flight.
