DAY 01:

  • Overnight at hotel in Lima

DAY 02 :

  • Flight Lima to Cusco (1 hour).
  • Welcome and transfer from Cusco airport to hotel.
  • City Tour Cusco: Cathedral, Qoricancha, Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay … (from 1:30pm – 6:30pm.).
  • Tipical Dance and music Night Show (from 7pm to 8pm).
  • Overnight at hotel in Cusco.

DAY 03:

DAY 01 : CITY TOUR IN LIMA :

City tour in Lima, visit Huaca Pucllana Once you arrive in Peru our personal will welcome you in the hall of the airport and drive you to the hotel. After resting for a while we’ll start visiting the most interesting places of the ” City of the Kings “: the Cathedral, Pizarro’s Tomb, the Catacombs of San Francisco, passing through the Congress, the Palace of Torre Tagle. The residential areas of Orrantia, San Isidro, where we will visit the Huaca Pucllana, we will enjoy a spectacular sight of the Pacific Ocean. Rafael Larco Herrera Museum, where you will find a great quantity of preincaica pottery including the World biggest collection of erotic Huacos, then we’ll spend the night at the hotel.

Day 02 : City tour in Cusco

City tour in Cusco, music Show and dances of Cusco City tour around Cusco and outskirts You must be in the airport of Lima at least two hours before your flight leaves to Cusco,you only have to approach to the airline counter and display your ID’s to check in ,the flight to Cusco lasts 1 hr and 10 minutes, In Cusco ” The Archaeological Capital of America”, Our staff will be waiting for you to take you to the Hotel, where you will drink coca tea then you can rest for a while .around 1:30pm We’ll pick you up from your Hotel to start visiting the following attractives with a professional guide:

The Koricancha Palace and Convent of Santo Domingo: Religious center known as “The Temple of the Sun” where you will admire the impressive engineering used in its construction

The Cathedral: Colonial religious monument of extraordinary artistic value.

Sacsayhuaman: Built at 3 Km. From the city of Cusco, impressive stone fortress with an excellent architecture, Famous for its huge carved stones some of which are at 9 m/ 30 feet high,with a weigh of 350 tons. Here is where the Inty Raymi or Fiesta del Sol is held in June Every year.

Qenqo: Ceremonial and ritual center, amphitheatre where sacrifices were made.

Puca – Pucara: An old tambo (resting place), monitoring place throughout the Inka Empire Routes.

Tambomachay: At 7 Km. From the city of Cusco, ceremonial center of cult to the water,known traditionally as the place where water rests.

At the return to Cusco we can be dropped off near to main Square or at The Dance and Music Show to watch tipical dances of Cusco.

Day 03 : sacred valley of the incas

This tour starts around 9 am., we pick you up at your Hotel, we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view of Pisac an old Inca City and a visit to the Inka market in this village, where we will have the chance to know in a closer way its people customs and get good bargains with the handycrafts and souvenirs sellers, afterwards we’ll head for Urubamba, traveling on the borders of the river Vilcanota.

We’ll have lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions. We’ll have the chance to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how this militar, religious and cultural center was during the Inca empire.

On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero, where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the man square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Then we return to Cusco.

Day  04  CUSCO –  ABRA MALAGA  – SANTA MARIA .

We will come to pick you up  from your hotel around 7 am., then we will drive to the Sacred Valley and  Ollantaytambo town where we will get the last provisions. Around 11 am. we will  arrive to the Malaga High Pass (Abra Málaga) 4,350 m.a.s.l. or 1,4850 Ft., there, our guide will bring a safety briefing , and then bikers will change in to the kit provided by us (gloves, helmets . knee and elbow pads ) Freewheeling down quiet but challenging roads, past changing landscapes and ice capped mountains, and rivers, to reach Huamanmarca, (archaeological complex), end of our trail with bikes, boarding the bus to get Santa Maria town around 3:00 pm. Approx.

once we get to santa maria , our rafting guide will be waiting ready to start a new adventure .this exciting journey will start in Santa Maria bridge, doing a journey of 2 hours through the Vilcanota Sacred River, there we will see beautiful landscapes, finding rapids of nomination 3 and 4 (dry season) becoming then a very exciting and awesome journey, here we will always have a safety kayak, to provide the security we need. Once the journey is done, a bus will be waiting for us to go back to Santa Maria where we will have dinner and spend our first night in a local family house.

The rapids in this part of the river are considered some of the best in Cusco and the warm weather makes this tour and unforgettable experience.

Day 05 : SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA

we will wake up at around 5:30 am to enjoy our breakfast tipical of the area after  we will start trekking next to river, while we will go into the high jungle (cloud forest ) we will have the chance to see amazing landscapes , local people , flora and fauna as soon as we get to the top we will see the whole valley of the low urubamba , thence during the walking we will find an original Inka trail. Going on with the walking we will arrive to the Quellomayo village where we will get the lunch, and then we will continue to reach Santa Teresa hot springs (healthy properties), after a relaxing bath we will continue walking for 40 minutes more to Santa Teresa town where we will have dinner and spend our second night in local family house. Day 06  : SANTA  TERESA  – AGUAS CALIENTES  TOWN

this day you have two option; you can either walk from santa teresa to aguas calientes (11 kilometres total ) or do a zip line tour in the morning (with transport to the hidrolectrica  station ) and walk  the final  7 kilometres . what ever option you choose ? .the gruop will meet again in the hidrolectrica station .for having lunch and after we will walk 3 hours  along the train track to aguas calientes town . where we are going to sleep at hostel and have dinner then get briefing about the guided tour in machupicchu for the following day and you have option to visit the aguas calientes hot springs (10 soles entry )

Day 07 : aguas calientes to MACHUPICCHU (visit to the Inka citadel)

Around 4 am.we will get ready to go to the Inka citadel of Machupicchu, the walking will follow an up going trail through the jungle, having the amazing opportunity to see the sun rising while walking; after registration in the Park control desk around 6 a.m. we will appreciate the sun rising with some luck, then we will be visiting inside the inka citadel with the presence of our guide who will share everything he knows about this wonderful citadel during two hours approximately and then you will have free time to visit and walk by your own, having account the returning train schedule. If we have enough time and we could climb up to the Huaynapicchu mountain where one can see the citadel at all its explendor. In the afternoon, we will go down by walking to Aguas Calientes, to take our touristic train to Ollantaytambo and then we’ll be picked up in touristic bus to Cusco City, arriving there around 12:00 pm.aprox

Day 08 : cusco – lima
