Itinerary

Day 1Machu Picchu Full-Day Tour from Cusco (Vistadome / 360° Train)

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco around 5:30 a.m. and transferred to the Ollantaytambo train station. From there, you will board the exclusive Vistadome Observatory Train or 360° Panoramic Train, beginning your scenic journey to Machu Picchu.

During your 1 hour and 45-minute train ride, you will travel through the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, descending from the Andes into the cloud forest while following the Urubamba River. This is one of the most iconic experiences in any Machu Picchu tour from Cusco.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), you will have a short break to relax, take photos, or enjoy a coffee before continuing your tour.

Next, you will take a short bus ride up to the entrance of the Machu Picchu Citadel, where you will present your passport and entrance ticket.

Inside the archaeological site, you will enjoy a 2–3 hour guided tour of Machu Picchu (Circuit 2 – standard route), exploring the most important areas of the Inca citadel, including terraces, temples, ceremonial plazas, the Guard House, and panoramic viewpoints.

Circuit 2 offers you the most complete experience of Machu Picchu archaeological site. If it is not available, Circuit 3 or Circuit 1 will be assigned instead. It is highly recommended to book in advance, as Machu Picchu entrance tickets sell out quickly.

After your guided visit, you will enjoy lunch in Aguas Calientes at Full House or Chullos Restaurant, where you will taste Peruvian and international cuisine made with fresh local ingredients, often served with stunning mountain views.

In the afternoon, you will board the return Vistadome or 360° Train back to Ollantaytambo, followed by private transport back to Cusco. You will arrive at your hotel around 7:00 p.m., completing your unforgettable Machu Picchu full-day tour from Cusco.
