Day 1Machu Picchu Full-Day Tour from Cusco | Vistadome / 360° Train

Your adventure begins around 4:30 a.m. with hotel pickup in Cusco. While the city is still waking up, you’ll set off toward the Andes and the legendary citadel of Machu Picchu.

You’ll travel to Ollantaytambo Train Station and board the Vistadome Observatory or 360° Panoramic Train to Aguas Calientes. Through the panoramic windows, enjoy an unforgettable journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, following the Urubamba River as the landscape changes from high Andes to lush cloud forest.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo), you’ll have a short break to relax, enjoy a coffee, or take photos before continuing to the citadel.

Next, you’ll take a short bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu. Present your passport and entrance ticket, then step inside to discover the remarkable legacy of the Inca civilization.

During your 2–3-hour guided tour, you’ll explore ancient temples, agricultural terraces, ceremonial plazas, the Guard House, and panoramic viewpoints while your local guide brings the history and stories of Machu Picchu to life.
