My journey to the Seven Lagoons of Ausangate was nothing short of spectacular. The day kicked off with an early pickup from my hotel in Cusco, signaling the beginning of an adventure-filled day in the Andes.

Arriving in Tinke, we indulged in a traditional breakfast at a local restaurant, setting the stage for the day ahead. The flavorsome meal provided the energy needed for the upcoming trek while offering a glimpse into the local culinary delights.

The trek itself was awe-inspiring, with four hours of traversing through the mesmerizing landscapes of the Vilcanota mountain range. The sight of local shepherds and farmers amidst the vibrant valleys added to the authenticity of the experience, showcasing traditional Andean life.
