Your Rainbow Mountain tour from Cusco begins with an early hotel pickup between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. Travel through the breathtaking Peruvian Andes toward Cusipata, enjoying spectacular mountain scenery along the way.

In Cusipata, enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast before continuing to the Rainbow Mountain trailhead, located at approximately 4,600 m (15,092 ft) above sea level.

From the trailhead, you’ll begin your guided Rainbow Mountain trek through the high Andes. As you hike, keep an eye out for llamas and alpacas and enjoy the impressive mountain landscapes surrounding you. After approximately 1 hour of trekking, you’ll reach Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, rising to 5,036 m (16,522 ft) above sea level.
