You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00 and 4:30 a.m. and begin your journey to the stunning Humantay Lake, one of the most iconic high-altitude experiences in the Peruvian Andes. You will make a stop in Mollepata, where you will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast to fuel your adventure. From there, you will continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of your hike, located at the base of the majestic Salkantay Mountain and surrounded by dramatic Andean scenery.
Upon arrival, you will begin your guided hike to the incredible Laguna Humantay (4,200 m / 13,779 ft), one of the most beautiful turquoise lakes in Peru.
