Start your day with a picturesque transfer from your hotel in Puno to the port between 7:40 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. Then, embark on a motorboat voyage to the legendary Uros Islands—a cluster of man-made floating reed islands where you will gain an intimate insight into the unique way of life of the Uros people. Discover how these communities thrive on islands that are sometimes no larger than 20 meters across.
Next, continue your journey with a three-hour boat ride to Amantani Island, where the experience deepens. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by local families for a homestay, offering a rare glimpse into authentic island life. After settling in, you’ll have the opportunity to hike to the island’s summit at 4,150 meters above sea level, visit the sacred temples of Pachamama and Pachatata, and immerse yourself in the island’s rich traditions.
In the evening, enjoy a home-cooked dinner prepared by your host family, accompanied by authentic musical performances that reflect the spirit of Amantani. Overnight in rustic yet cozy accommodations provided by local families.

After lunch, you’ll reflect on your enriching experiences during the journey back to Puno, arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m. A transfer will be waiting to take you back to your hotel, marking the end of this memorable day.

The tour returns to Puno around 4:00 PM on Day 2.
