Itinerary

Day 1Reception Cusco Airport - Cusco Hotel - City tour in Cusco/Show Dance and Music - Cusco hotel.

Upon arrival at Cusco Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Upon arrival, you will be offered coca tea, which is traditionally used to help with acclimatisation to altitude.

In the afternoon, you will take a guided tour of Cusco, visiting the city’s most important attractions:

The Plaza de Armas (the historic main square of Cusco), Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) – one of the most important Inca temples – and the impressive Inca archaeological sites of Saqsayhuamán, Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay, located on the outskirts of the city.

In the evening, you will experience the rich culture and traditions of the Andes at a traditional Andean music and dance show at the Qosqo Native Art Centre.

Day 2Cusco Hotel - Sacred Valley Tour - Cusco.

You will be picked up at 7:30 a.m. from your Cusco hotel and travel by private minibus to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic stops and learn about the rich history of the Inca civilization.

Stops include:

Pisac Market & Ruins: You will explore the traditional craft market and visit the impressive archaeological site, featuring agricultural terraces and ancient temples overlooking the valley.

Urubamba: You will enjoy lunch at a local Andean restaurant (buffet lunch not included, approximately USD 20 per person).

Ollantaytambo: You will discover a living Inca town where people still inhabit original Inca-built structures. You will also visit the archaeological site, known for its impressive agricultural terraces and ceremonial temples.

Chinchero: You will visit a charming highland community known for its traditional weaving, vibrant market, and fascinating archaeological site. You will explore centuries-old terraces, colonial architecture built on Inca foundations, and the rich cultural heritage of the Andes.

Day 3Machu Picchu Guided Tour

You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco at around 4:00 a.m. and taken to Ollantaytambo. From there, you will board the train to Aguas Calientes, travelling through stunning Andean landscapes en route. Upon arrival, you will take a short bus ride to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

At this magnificent citadel, you will need to present your ticket and original passport before beginning your guided tour.

Enjoy a two- to three-hour tour, exploring the site’s most iconic highlights, including ancient terraces, sacred temples, ceremonial plazas, the Guard House, and stunning panoramic viewpoints.

This tour includes Circuit 2 by default, offering the most complete and immersive experience of Machu Picchu. If tickets for this circuit are unavailable, you will be offered the next best alternative: Circuit 3 or Circuit 1. We strongly recommend booking your Machu Picchu tickets in advance, as availability is limited and the most popular circuits sell out quickly.

After the tour, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch, explore the charming town, and visit the local artisan shops. In the afternoon, you will board the Expedition or Voyager train for a scenic 1 hour and 45-minute journey back to Ollantaytambo. From there, you will travel by private minibus to Cusco.

You will arrive at your hotel in Cusco at around 7:00 p.m., having completed an unforgettable journey to one of the world’s most iconic wonders.

Day 4Bus Guided Tour from (Cusco - Puno) - Puno Hotel .

You will travel along the famous Ruta del Sol, a scenic route between Cusco and Puno, with guided stops at some of the most important cultural and historical sites in the Andes.

Stops include:

Andahuaylillas: You will visit the San Pedro Apóstol Church, known as the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes” for its impressive colonial artwork.

Raqchi: You will explore the Temple of Wiracocha, an important Inca archaeological complex dedicated to the creator god.

La Raya Pass: You will stop at the highest point of the route to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Andes Mountains.

Pucará Lithic Museum: You will visit a museum showcasing pre-Inca stone sculptures and artifacts from the Pucará civilization.

Day 5Uros Floating Islands & Taquile Island – Full-Day Tour

The tour begins with an early hotel pick-up in Puno at 6:45 a.m., followed by a transfer to the port to board the boat at 7:15 a.m. across Lake Titicaca.

Your first stop will be the Uros Floating Islands, located about 30 minutes away.

The Uros people are one of the oldest cultures on Lake Titicaca. They live on artificial islands made entirely of totora reeds, which they use to build their homes, boats, and also for food and fuel.

You will discover how this remarkable community has preserved its traditional way of life on the water for centuries.

Next, you will sail for approximately one hour to Taquile Island, famous for its stunning lake views and UNESCO-recognized textile traditions.

You will walk along scenic trails to the Plaza de Armas, visit local weaving workshops, and enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by a local family.

After this cultural experience, you will return by boat to the port and transfer back to your hotel, concluding a full day of history, culture, and breathtaking Andean landscapes.

Day 6Sillustani & Departure to Lima

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to Sillustani, home to the impressive pre-Inca burial towers. These ancient chullpas, some reaching up to 12 meters in height, offer a fascinating insight into the rituals and beliefs of ancient Andean civilizations.

After exploring Sillustani, you will continue your journey with a drive to Juliaca Airport, approximately one hour from Puno.

At the airport, you will check in for your flight back to Lima.

You will then board a one-hour flight to Lima. As you fly over the Andes and the landscapes of southern Peru, you will reflect on your unforgettable journey through the Lake Titicaca region.

Upon arrival in Lima, our services will end. From there, you are free to continue your travels or explore the vibrant capital city at your own pace.

Our adventure in Peru was truly unforgettable! From the moment we landed in Cusco, we were greeted warmly and introduced to the Andean culture with coca tea at our hotel. The city tour of Cusco was mesmerizing, taking us through the historic Plaza de Armas, the grand Cathedral, and the Koricancha Temple. The mystical ruins of Qenqo, Puka Pucara, Tambomachay, and the majestic Sacsayhuaman fortress showcased the engineering marvels of the Inca civilization. The evening concluded with a vibrant show of traditional music and dance at the Qosqo Native Art Center, which was an enchanting experience.

The journey to Machu Picchu on the second day was the highlight of our trip. The scenic train ride to Aguas Calientes set the stage for an awe-inspiring visit to the “Lost City of the Incas.” Our guided tour revealed the secrets of this ancient citadel, leaving us in awe of its grandeur. The Sacred Valley tour on the third day was equally captivating, with visits to Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero, each offering unique glimpses into the Inca heritage.
