I recently completed an 8-day tour of Peru, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we were picked up in Lima, everything was meticulously organized. The city tour in Lima was a great introduction, showcasing historical sites like the Plaza de Armas and the San Francisco Temple. The following days in Cusco were equally impressive, with visits to Qorikancha, Sacsayhuaman, and the bustling San Pedro Market. The Sacred Valley tour offered stunning views and fascinating stops at Pisaq and Ollantaytambo before heading to Aguas Calientes.
The highlight, of course, was Machu Picchu. The guided tour was both informative and awe-inspiring, offering deep insights into the Inca civilization. Rainbow Mountain and the journey to Puno were breathtaking, with vibrant landscapes and cultural encounters. The Lake Titicaca tour was another gem, allowing us to explore the unique floating islands of Uros and the beautiful Taquile Island. Finally, the visit to the Sillustani archaeological complex rounded off the trip perfectly. This tour is a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty, and I highly recommend it!
