  • Hot springs at Aguas calientes: Relax at the thermal baths in Aguas Calientes for 20 soles per person, payable upon arrival.
  • Additional expenses: Personal expenses, such as souvenirs, additional activities, or other incidentals that you may incur during the tour are not included in the package. You should set aside funds to cover these additional expenses according to your personal preferences.

What to Bring

  • Original passport: Copies are not accepted. Your original passport must be valid for at least six months to enter and exit Peru and have at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps.
  • Student ID: Required only if you booked the Excursions as a student. You must carry a valid student ID issued by your university (up to 25 years old), including university details, personal information, a photo, and a valid date no later than December 31 of the travel year.
  • Insect repellent: Use a repellent containing at least 15% DEET. Although there is no reported malaria risk, it helps prevent bites and stay comfortable.
  • Comfortable footwear: Tennis shoes or hiking boots with good grip are important for walking on uneven or steep terrain.
  • Comfortable clothing: Dress for cold and windy conditions, and be sure to bring a waterproof and windproof jacket.
  • Daypack: Choose a comfortable, lightweight, and compact backpack to carry your belongings throughout the day.
  • Sun protection: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect yourself from strong high-altitude sun exposure.
  • Personal medication: Don’t forget your personal medication and a basic first-aid kit.
  • Hats and sunglasses: The sun can be intense at high altitude. Wear UV-protective sunglasses and a comfortable hat.
  • Hand sanitizer: Carry a small bottle to clean your hands before eating, drinking, or after using the bathroom.
  • Emergency money: Please bring extra cash for unexpected expenses. We recommend carrying 300 soles (approximately USD 90) in cash.
Itinerary

Day 1Lima City Tour:

Upon arrival in Lima, the capital of Peru, our staff or driver will meet you at Jorge Chávez International Airport and transfer you to your selected hotel.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Lima at 2:00 pm. and take you on a journey through the heart of the Lima City, exploring its most iconic landmarks and hidden gems.

After settling in, immerse yourself in the rich history and vibrant culture of Lima with our comprehensive city tour. Lasting approximately 5 hours, this guided excursion will take you to the city’s most iconic attractions, including the Main Plaza, the historic San Francisco Temple, and the charming streets of historical Lima.

Let yourself be captivated by the beauty and charm of Peru’s capital city as you explore its fascinating landmarks. After a day of discovery, enjoy a comfortable night’s stay at your hotel in Lima.

Finally, In the evening, discover the vibrant Miraflores district, known for its lively streets, beautiful parks, and breathtaking coastal views of the Pacific Ocean. Stroll along the cliffs, enjoy the energetic atmosphere, and gain a deeper appreciation for Lima’s rich history, culture, and modern charm. Day 2Cusco City tour:

We’ll transfer you from your hotel to the airport in the morning. Then, you’ll take a one-hour flight from Lima to Cusco. When you land at Cusco Airport, We’ll pick you up and take you to your hotel.

Once you arrive at the hotel, you’ll be served coca tea to prevent altitude sickness. and you can also rest and have a light lunch before starting the city tour in Cusco.

At 1:30 p.m., you’ll be picked up from your hotel to begin the Cusco City Tour. You’ll visit the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), and the city’s main streets, where you can appreciate its historic architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

You’ll then continue to the archaeological sites located on the outskirts of Cusco: the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, the ceremonial center of Qenqo, the ancient military outpost of Puca Pucara, and the Water Temple of Tambomachay.

Finally, We’ll return to the hotel between 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm approximately.

Day 3Cusco - Sacred Valley Tour - Cusco.

This tour starts around 9 am., we pick you up at your Hotel, we have a guided tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, over the Vilcanota river, with a panoramic view of Pisac an old Inca City and a visit to the Inka market in this village, where we will have the chance to know in a closer way its people customs and get good bargains with the handycrafts and souvenirs sellers, afterwards we’ll head for Urubamba, traveling on the borders of the river Vilcanota.

We’ll have lunch at a restaurant in the Sacred Valley of the Incas. In the afternoon we visit the fortress and citadel of Ollantaytambo, built to watch the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from the jungle habitants invasions. We’ll have the chance to walk by the narrow streets and have a clear knowledge of how this militar, religious and cultural center was during the Inca empire.

On the way back to Cusco we will stop by the colorful village of Chinchero, where we will find the ruins of the Tupac Inca Yupanqui Royal House, we will appreciate its well preserve Inca wall in the man square and you will visit the beauty Colonial Temple with invaluable portraits, built over Inca Bases. Then we return to Cusco.

Day 4Cusco – Abra Malaga – Santa Maria

You will be picked up from your hotels between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 a.m., then enjoy a scenic drive toward Abra Málaga, where spectacular views of the Andean landscape unfold along the way. Upon arrival, everyone is provided with the necessary safety equipment and prepared for the biking adventure.

After a comprehensive safety briefing, you’ll embark on an exhilarating three-hour downhill bike ride. The route takes riders through a variety of ecosystems, beginning in cool, high-altitude grasslands and descending into lush cloud forests. Along the way, you’ll experience dramatic changes in scenery and climate, making this ride both an adrenaline-filled adventure and a unique opportunity to witness the region’s rich biodiversity.

The bike ride concludes at Huaman Marca, a fascinating and lesser-known archaeological site. Here, guests have time to explore the ancient Inca ruins, appreciate their historical significance, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

After visiting Huaman Marca, the group will travel by van to the town of Santa María, where lunch will be served. Following some time to rest, you’ll continue the adventure with an exciting one-hour rafting experience on the Vilcanota River, offering a refreshing and memorable way to connect with the area’s natural beauty.

In the evening, guests will stay overnight at a local hostel in Santa María, where you’ll experience authentic Andean hospitality, enjoy traditional cuisine, and relax after a full day of adventure.

Day 5Santa Maria – Santa Teresa

Breakfast is served at 6:00 a.m. Afterward, you’ll begin hiking. As you climb the original Inca Trail, you’ll discover the region’s rich flora and fauna. This historic trail offers a unique experience, showcasing remarkable engineering and a deep connection with nature.

The hike continues to Quellomayo where you’ll stop for lunch and rest. Enjoy a peaceful break, perhaps indulging in some local fruit or chatting with villagers.

After, head to the Santa Teresa hot springs for a relaxing bath. These pools are in stunning locations, making them the ideal spot to chill out.

End your day with a drive to Santa Teresa, where youll stay at our friendly, comfortable hostel.

Day 6Santa Teresa – Aguas Calientes Town

Wake up at 6:30 a.m., enjoy a tasty breakfast, and get ready for another day of fun.
Around 8:00 a.m., the Zip Line Team will collect you and take you where the adventure begins. After a quick safety introductions, you’ll go on an exciting 2-hour adventure, flying across four different cables over the andean valleys.

After ziplining, enjoy a scenic one-hour car ride to Hidroelectrica, where you can stop for a well-deserved lunch.

Afterwards, enjoy a leisurely walk along the train tracks towards Aguas Calientes. This picturesque path is surrounded by dense jungle vegetation and accompanied by the peaceful sounds of a nearby river, providing an immersive experience of nature.

Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, check into your hostel and take some time to relax. Explore Aguas Calientes at your own pace, strolling through its charming streets lined with cafés, artisan shops, and local markets.

In the evening, enjoy dinner and a briefing to help you to prepare for the visit to Machu Picchu the following day.

Day 7Aguas Calientes - Machupicchu Tour - Cusco.

There are two ways to reach the main gate of Machu Picchu from Aguas Calientes. You can either walk through beautiful trail for an hour and a half, or take a bus for US$12. Decide once you are there.
Either way, you’ll need to start early in the morning, This depends on your timetable for visiting Machu Picchu.

Once you arrive, you will meet the group Members and the guide. Then, you will all go in together to start exploring the citadel of Machu Picchu.

Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu, one of the most iconic archaeological sites in the world. As you explore its majestic temples, agricultural terraces, and ceremonial plazas, your knowledgeable guide will share the rich history and fascinating stories of the Inca civilization, bringing the ancient city to life.

Afterwards, you will return to Aguas Calientes to catch the train back to Cusco or walk back to Hidroelectrica and take a bus back to Cusco.

Day 8Cusco – Lima

After breakfast at your hotel, enjoy some free time to explore Cusco or do some last-minute shopping.

At the scheduled time, you’ll be transferred to the Cusco Airport for your flight to Lima, perfectly coordinated with your international departure. Our team ensures you arrive with plenty of time for a smooth, stress-free connection home.
