  • Transportation: Round-trip transportation to the Sacred Valley is provided by comfortable van. Your journey typically begins with a convenient hotel pickup in Cusco in the morning. At the end of the trip, you will be dropped off either at at the main square in Cusco.
  • Meals: A nutritious lunch is included during the excursion to keep you energized throughout your tour. Vegetarian options are available at no extra cost upon request.

Excludes

  • Tips for Guides and Staff: Gratuities for guides, drivers, and other personnel are not included in the tour price. While tipping is optional, it is a kind gesture and greatly appreciated when you receive good service.
  • Alcoholic beverages: If meals are included, they usually do not include alcoholic beverages, which must be purchased separately.
  • Entrance Ticket: The Tourist Ticket is included and provides access to all the Inca archaeological sites visited during the Sacred Valley tour.

What to Bring

  • Original Passport Required: Please remember that a copy of your passport is not accepted. You must carry your original passport, which should be valid for at least six months from your entry date to Peru. Also, make sure your passport has at least two blank pages available for entry and exit stamps
  • Cost of the Entrance Tickets: Partial tourist Ticket: S/ 70.00 soles (to enter the sites of Pisaq, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero. If you purchase the Tourist
  • Entrance Tickets to Inca Sites: Ticket for the City Tour with S/130.00, this same ticket is valid for the sites in the Sacred Valley!)
  • This tour can connect with a trip to Machu Picchu from Ollantaytambo train station. To do this you must buy your train ticket to leave after 4pm. We can organize this for you, if you wish

  • Student ID: Required only if you booked Machu Picchu tour as a student. Your student card must be issued by your university (for travelers up to 25 years old) and include university details, your personal info, a photo, and a valid date no later than December 31 of the travel year.
  • Tennis shoes: Tennis shoes or hiking boots that grip well are important when walking on uneven and steep lands.
  • Good-Quality Daypack: It’s essential to have a comfortable, lightweight, and compact backpack to carry your belongings during the trek. A good-quality daypack makes it easier to keep your essentials handy without weighing you down.
  • Comfy clothing: Dress for cold and windy weather, and be sure to bring a waterproof and windproof jacket.
Itinerary

Day 1Cuaco - Sacrd valley of the Incas - Cusco.

Your day starts early with a pick-up from your hotel between 7:30 and 8:00 AM.

Then, you’ll drive through the stunning Andean countryside on your way to Pisac, your first stop. Once there, you’ll explore the ancient archaeological site before heading down to the lively artisan market, where you can browse local crafts and meet the makers.

Around midday, you’ll continue through the Sacred Valley to Urubamba, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits you – offering a great chance to savor traditional flavors. After lunch, you’ll visit Ollantaytambo, an impressive Inca archaeological site filled with history and remarkable architecture.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll arrive at Chinchero, a charming town famous for its traditional textile production, where you can learn about the weaving techniques that have been passed down for generations.

Finally, you’ll return to Cusco, arriving around 7:00 PM, with memories of a full day immersed in the culture and history of the Sacred Valley.
