Experience the best of the Andes on a 4-day adventure that combines the Lares Trek, the Short Inca Trail, and the iconic city of Machu Picchu. Enjoy breathtaking landscapes, local traditions, and an unforgettable train journey through the Vilcanota River Valley, surrounded by diverse flora and fauna.

This tour offers the perfect balance of nature, culture, and comfort. Along the way, you’ll visit beautiful places and learn about the customs of local communities. The Lares Trek and Short Inca Trail is a unique option offered by Pacha Expeditions, ideal for families, friends, and newlyweds who want a peaceful and memorable experience. Groups are kept small so you receive personalized attention from our professional guides.

Keep in mind that the level of difficulty depends largely on your physical condition and acclimatization.

In recent years, the 4-day Lares Trek to Machu Picchu has become increasingly popular, especially since the number of hikers allowed on the Classic Inca Trail is limited and permits must be purchased 5 to 6 months in advance. The advantage of this tour is that it can be organized just a few days ahead. However, most companies combine these treks with a visit to Machu Picchu, so it is still necessary to reserve Machu Picchu entry tickets in advance.
