Itinerary

Day 01Lima – Paracas – Ballestas Islands – Ica – Huacachina – Nazca

Your adventure starts early with a 4:30 a.m. hotel pickup in Lima. Travel south along the Pan – American Highway and enjoy the changing scenery as you cross Peru’s spectacular coastal desert.

Arrive in Paracas and board a boat to explore the Ballestas Islands, known as the “Galápagos of Peru”, one of Peru’s best places to see marine wildlife.

Cruise along the coast and look out for sea lions, Humboldt penguins, and seabirds, while also seeing the mysterious Candelabro geoglyph carved into the desert landscape.

Continue to Ica for a Pisco and wine tasting at a local vineyard. Taste Peru’s famous Pisco and discover the flavors and traditions of this renowned wine-producing region.

Next, head to the iconic Huacachina Oasis, surrounded by towering desert dunes. Get your adrenaline pumping with an exciting dune buggy ride across the sand and try sandboarding down the dunes. Afterward, take in the spectacular desert scenery and enjoy the sunset over the oasis.

In the evening, continue to Nazca for your overnight stay. Relax and get ready for the next day, when you’ll have the chance to discover one of Peru’s greatest mysteries: the Nazca Lines.

Day 02Nazca Lines Flight – Return to Lima

After breakfast at 8:00 a.m., you’ll head to Nazca Airport for one of the most memorable experiences of your trip: a 35 – minute scenic flight over the Nazca Lines.

From your window seat, you’ll enjoy a bird’ – eye view of the mysterious ancient geoglyphs spread across the Peruvian desert. Keep an eye out for some of the most famous figures, including the Hummingbird, Monkey, Spider, Whale, and Astronaut, as you admire these fascinating designs from above.

After your Nazca Lines flight, you’ll have some free time to relax or explore Nazca before boarding your tourist bus to Lima at 2:00 p.m.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through Peru’s coastal desert. You’ll arrive in Lima around 10:00 p.m., where you’ll be dropped off at your hotel, marking the end of your 2 – day adventure through Paracas, Huacachina, and Nazca.
