At 2:00 p.m., the excursion will begin. You will go on a guided tour of several attractions. First, you will visit the Pre-Inca cemetery of Sillustani. It is located on Lake Umayo. There, you can see the impressive stone structures called Chullpas. These are archaeological monuments built entirely of stone. Then, you will return to the hotel.

Day 2Puno – Uros – Amantani

Start your day early with a convenient hotel pickup by our knowledgeable local guide, who will lead you to the harbor. The first destination on our Lake Titicaca excursion is the remarkable Uros Floating Islands. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to engage with the Uros tribe and discover their incredible lifestyle on islands made entirely of reeds. Next, the journey continues to Amantani Island.

Spend about two hours exploring this captivating locale, renowned for its ancient agricultural terraces and pre-Inca ruins. Immerse yourself in the island’s rich culture and experience firsthand the strong community and family ties of its Quechua-speaking inhabitants. After your exploration, enjoy some leisure time at the island’s summit before regrouping for a delicious local lunch.

After you get comfortable at the family’s home, you have lunch. Then, you visit the island’s tourist sites. Later, you enjoy a delicious dinner and dance with the locals (dance and traditional dress). This is organized to celebrate the visitors. Finally, you spend the night at the family’s home.
